About
Founded in 2025 with the mission of impacting lives through artistic and expressive figure skating, Virginia Artistic Skating Company is a collective of professional skating artists from across the Commonwealth, coming together to inspire hope, empower health, and encourage harmony through artistic and expressive figure skating performances. VASC is the first and only nonprofit, professional figure skating company in the state of Virginia, and one of only five in the United States. Founder Dr. Anna Ruth Johnson's passion for sharing hope and healing through skating and movement arts has established VASC as not just a professional performing arts company - but a powerful agent of change in Virginia and beyond.
